Attention Golfers!! Golfers needed!! The Ray Ward Memorial Scholarship Golf Marathon is a golfer’s dream come true! Play 100 holes of golf in one day! No hold ups on the course! Play until your heart is content! Hack, chip, putt, chase and beat hundreds of little balls from dawn to dusk! Golfers need to meet only one criterion - a commitment to raise scholarship funds while having fun on the course.

The Ray Ward Memorial Scholarship Golf Marathon will be held Friday, September 26th at the Springfield Golf Course in Mount Holly, NJ. The golfers meet at 5:30 a.m. for breakfast and then go out on the course as soon as it is light enough.

 

The event is named in memory of businessman, Ray Ward, who devoted his life to helping youth achieve high goals. "To change a teenager's life," is the golf marathon's theme, with the goal to raise funds to financially assist students seeking the opportunity to attend Life Center Academy. LCA offers a broad based education emphasizing family and traditional values in a Judeo-Christian environment and is committed to preparing our youth to make a positive impact in today's world.

 

Both individual and corporate sponsors are needed to support the volunteer golfers. A special corporate sponsorship package is available which includes free radio advertising, free golf, free vacation trips and more.
