As a young girl, Pat Miller dreamed of growing up and helping people. After graduation from Rancocas Valley Regional High School, she trained and worked as a medical secretary.
Later, she and her husband, Raymond, were owners of a flower shop for eleven years. Having three children kept her involved as a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Girl Scout Leader, and other civic activities which included serving on the local Zoning Board and Mayor’s Citizens Committee.
In 1976 Pat’s life changed dramatically when she became a committed, born-again Christian. Several years later, her husband also came to Christ. They spent two years on staff at Blue Mountain Christian Retreat in New Ringgold, PA and eight years volunteering in Marriage Enrichment Seminars. Pat was also a speaker for women’s retreats for different churches during that time.
After her husband’s death in 1991, Pat started attending Fountain of Life Center and volunteered in several areas of need in the church. In 1996, Pat became the Director of Public Relations for the church. She was licensed as an Assemblies of God minister in 2005 and joined the pastoral staff. Pastor Pat was ordained in 2008.
Pastor Pat is also the Director of Jubulee House, a home for at-risk, homeless women, and serves in a variety of other capacities and is indeed fulfilling her childhood dream of helping others. She has six grandchildren who are her special joy.
